PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control system which prevents the deterioration of the battery body by overdischarging in case of battery drive, and prevents the application of high voltage to the electric equipment in case of using DC power. SOLUTION: This is small-sized electronic equipment driven by a battery or a DC power source, and this is equipped with a stabilized power source 4, which supplies and breaks the power of a printer control circuit 3, a power control means B, which includes a manual switch SW and an IC 2 for controlling the switching of the supply and break of the stabilizing power source 4, and an overdischarging preventive means A which includes a voltage drop detecting IC for resetting the IC2 when the battery voltage drops under the stipulated voltage and transistors TR1 and TR2 for switching for resetting the IC2 when it is not operated within a specified time. Moreover, this is equipped with a switch part 1 which performs the supply and break of power to a printer mechanism & driver 2.
