<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply the right of transmission to a transmission request in the order of its generation. SOLUTION: When the input of a carrier signal is informed from a carrier sensor 10, a counter 8 measures a time required until a medium is freed or integartes measuring time and stores the measuring time till then as stand-by time. A back-off time generating part 7 generates back-off time based upon the stored stand-by time so that the back-off time is shortened in accordance with the extension of the stand-by time and registers the generated back-off time in a timer 6. At the time of judging the free state of the medium, a CPU 4 subtracts the back-off time of the timer 6. When the back-off time reaches zero without receiving another carrier signal during the counting of time, the CPU 4 ends the back-off processing and starts transmission.</p> |
