<p>The storage system (200) itself comprises several accumulators (201,202) which are connected via at least one conduit (203). At least one accumulator is charged layer-wise in the gravitation direction with high-grade hot water. This layer represents the reaction volume (202a), which makes available hot water of approximately 60 deg. C for the distribution and preparation stages (300,300a). Within the preparation stage is a heat exchanger (326), the primary side of which is flowed through by the hot water from the reaction volume. This hot water thereby experiences a cooling, so that where needed a direct mixing with hot water from the reaction volume takes place, whereby the user stage (400) is always fed with hot water of around 45 deg.
