摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lock a differential gear from being locked in the case of extreme difference between traction force and torque bias ratio by controlling an oscillatable toggle around the axial line extending in parallel with the axial line of a planetary gear, and controlling the level of gear reaction force to be transmitted to a leading element and a follower element. SOLUTION: Control means of torque bias ratio of a differential gear device comprises a pair of annular control rings 11, 21 surrounding a toggle and supporting a column member; a plurality of springs connecting two control rings. The left control ring 21 and the right control ring 11 are connected by means of a plurality of compression springs 13. Each annular ring includes a bottomed hole in which the spring 13 is fitted. Each control ring has a cylindrical part and a conical cylinder part, the formed having a cylindrical inner circumferential surfaced, the latter having a conical inner circumferential surface. Control rings are positioned closest to each other at their cylindrical parts and positioned nearer to the axial center of the differential gear device than their conical surface cylinder part.
