PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the data base natural language interface device which actualizes retrieval processing by referring to only data base schema knowledge wherein the table constitution of a data base is described. SOLUTION: The data base interface device, which stands between a data base system and a user to support data base access, is equipped with a sentence analysis part 11 which takes a morpheme analysis of an inputted Japanese sentence, a pattern processing part 12 which extracts and converts the surface expression pattern of data base access included in the morpheme analysis result into a mathematical expression, a relation extraction part 14 which extracts the relation between the morpheme-analyzed words according to the data base schema wherein the table constitution of the data base is described, and a command generation part 16 which generates a retrieval command for the data base from the converted mathematical expression and the relation between the extracted words. |
