PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the torque control performance while shortening the work time by determining a pole position detection error, i.e., the phase difference between an induced voltage waveform and an output signal from a pole position sensor, and then correcting a pole position detection value based on the pole position detection error thus determined thereby eliminating the pole position detection error through operation in a control circuit. SOLUTION: A control circuit 10 is provided with a pulse processing circuit 104 receiving output signals PU, PV, PW, PA, PB from an absolute encoder 8 and an incremental encoder 9. An adder 105 subtracts a pole position error detection value ΔθAVR stored in a memory 106 from a pole position detection value θ1 outputted from the pulse processing circuit 104 thus producing a corrected pole position detection value θ. Since an operated pole position detection error is subtracted from a pole position detection value without mechanically adjusting the fixing position of a pole position sensor after it is fixed, effect of the pole position detection error on the torque error can be eliminated. |
