PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make connections safe and secure and to reduce the overall size by connecting the outer peripheral part of a metallic diaphragm, constituting a piezoelectric element, and a spring terminal at the outer peripheral part of a case. SOLUTION: This piezoelectric acoustic equipment consists principally of the piezoelectric element, and a top-surface side case 2 and a reverse-surface side case 3 which contains the piezoelectric element in a sandwiched state. The piezoelectric ceramic of the piezoelectric element is positioned at the step part 21 of the topsurface side case 2 on the side of an opening surface. Then the revese-surface side case 3 is fitted from the opening of the top-surface side case 2 so that vertex part 31 of the side wall part of the enclosure of the reverse-surface side case 3 abuts against the metallic diaphragm, and the piezoelectric element is sandwiched between the top-surface side case 2 and reverse-surface side case 3. The contact part of the tip of the spring terminal brought into contact with the metallic diaphragm is arranged in a cut part 33 formed in part of the side wall part of the enclosure of the reverse-surface side case 3. Consequently, even when the shape of the metallic diaphragm is made small without varying the shape of the piezoelectric ceramic, an electric connection can be made only by the part of the outer peripheral part of the metallic diaphragm. |
