PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capability of an emergency safeguarding apparatus to supply power required as a power supply unit and attain the miniaturization of the entire apparatus, by keeping supplying drive systems with power from a battery to drive them. SOLUTION: The emergency safeguarding apparatus consists of an emergency detecting means 4 that detects the presence/absence of an emergency; drive systems 2, 2,... that are driven to the safeguard side if any emergency occurs; a controlling means 20 that controls the drive systems 2, 2,... according to the output of detection from the emergency detecting means 4; a battery 24 that supplies the drive systems 2, 2,... with power for operation and the controlling means 20 with power for backup for emergency; and a power supply unit 22 that keeps supplying the controlling means 20 with power for operation and the battery 24 with charging power. |
