<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin compsn. having superior electrostatic charge characteristics even in a toner using a reduced amt. of an electrostatic charge regulating agent or not using the regulating agent and to obtain a toner contg. the resin compsn. SOLUTION: This resin compsn. excellent in electrostatic charge characteristics consists of an ethylene polymer (H) whose wt. average mol.wt. (Mw) is >=200,000 and an ethylene polymer (L) whose Mw is >=20,000. The ratio of the Mw of the polymer H to the number average mol.wt. (Mn) is >=8.0, the ionization potential(IP) of the polymer H is >=9.5eV and the difference between the IP and work function(WF) is >=5.0eV. The polymer H has a monomer(M) having >=10.0eV difference between the level of the highest occupied orbit(HOMO) and the level of the lowest unoccupied orbit(LUMO) obtd. by a computing scientific method as a constituent element.</p> |
