PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting energy storage apparatus by which a leakage magnetic field can be reduced and which eliminates the need for a large-scale shielding plate. SOLUTION: A solenoid coil 5 which is constituted of many layers 5a, 5b, 5c separated from each other by a prescribed size in the radial direction is arranged and installed on the inside of a cryogenic tank 9 which is loaded inside a vacuum container 8. Magnetic poles formed in the adjacent layers 5a, 5b, 5c for the solenoid coil 5 are set in opposite directions alternately. |
