PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately judge an original image similar to a specified image by judging the first degree of similarity for every picture element while using color tone distribution information, counting the results and judging the second degree of similarity based on the ratio of number of picture elements in the first judgement results. SOLUTION: A CPU 121 judges whether it is a specified original image or not and when it is similar, a judgement signal f113 is set at '1' but in the other case, it is set at '0' and the degree of similarity is judged to the specified original image by inputting the signal from a shading correction circuit 104 to a first color space similarity degree judging circuit 106. Next, the CPU 121 possesses the value of a sub scanning direction line counter 123, investigates whether that value is higher than the value set to the address of memory or not and performs second color space similarity degree judgement. Thus, it is judged whether the second color space similarity degree is really operated or not and when it is true, a judgement signal f113 is made '1' but it is false, the address of memory is cleared to be '0' corresponding to scanning. Thus, 1st - 4th scans are executed. |
