摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cross-connect device for not propagating the abnormality or the like of reference light generated in a part of the optical cross-connect device to the other optical cross-connect device inside an optical communication network. SOLUTION: An optical amplifier 14 receives absolute reference light provided with a reference frequency inside the optical communication network from a reference station. On the other hand, 1×2 switches B1-BN receive input light including the plural optical signals of mutually different frequencies through optical fibers F1-FN and send it to either active system switch modules S1-SN or standby system switch module SR corresponding to the instruction of a control part 18. An OR/OS part inside the switch modules S1-SN and SR receives the input light and separates it into the respective optical signals of the different frequencies. Further, the OR/OS part reproduces pulse waveforms included in the separated optical signals. Thereafter, the OR/OS part generates the light of a prescribed frequency with the absolute reference light as a reference, uses the reproduced pulse waveform and modulates and outputs generated light.
