PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specifically detect a cataphoresis fraction of glycoprotein by directly treating glycoprotein after cataphoresis with solution which is acid solution containing an oxidizing agent and whose oxidation-reduction potential is in a specific range, and thereafter treating with carboxylic acid solution. SOLUTION: An oxidizing agent as pretreatment liquid is solution in which oxidation-reduction potential measured in a silver/silver chloride electrode is about 1000-1300mV at the time at a temperature of about 25 deg.C and pH5 or less and periodic acid or its salt are employed. In addition, the concentration is normally 0.005-0.3M, preferably 0.008-0.2M. A glycoprotein carrier supporter after cataphoresis is shaken and immersed in the acid solution containing the oxidizing agent for 5-60 minutes, preferably 15-30 minutes. A quantity of pretreatment liquid is about 5-10 times the volume of the supporter. After the treatment is directly performed with the pretreatment liquid, if it is further treaded with by carboxylic acid solution, a band of glycoprotein is made clear when coloring treatment is performed. |
