PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel position display capable if immediately changing the scale of a display map with simple operation. SOLUTION: The scale '1/a' of a display map, the scale '1/x' of a wide map and a display time 't' are usually set (Step 31), map information including scales '1/a', '1/x' are read out of a CD-ROM (Step 32) and converted into image data by an image processor and stored in a image memory (Step 33) and the image data for a map in the scale '1a' is displayed on a display (Step 34). When a scale changing command is input (Step 35), image data for the map in the scale '1/x' is changed and display in the display for a display time 't' (Step 36) and the map in the scale '1a' is displayed again (Step 34). |
