<p>A hot-sealing device for a hot-sealable covering foil (3) with a thermoplastic container foil (1) having a heat-shaped blister (2) for receiving objects has a feed cylinder (11) and a heated sealing cylinder (12) whose axis is parallel to the axis of the feed cylinder (11) and that is pressed against the latter. In order to prevent the foils (1, 3) from overheating during standstill of the device, the sealing cylinder (12) is lifted off the feed cylinder (11), that acts as a counterpressure cylinder, when the device is at a standstill. In addition, to avoid untight areas or other sealing defects of the sealed foils (1, 3) when the sealing cylinder (12) is again applied on the feed cylinder (11) when the device resumes operation, the sealing cylinder (12) is positioned in relation to the feed cylinder (11) so that the previously sealed end section of the foil be sealed once again. Alternatively, the feed cylinder (11) is rotated backwards over a determined angle, against the direction of transport, when the sealing cylinder (12) is lifted off the feed cylinder (11) during standstill.</p> |
