PURPOSE:To reduce amount of roving remaining in a sliver bobbin in replacement of sliver while preventing overlap of time for replacing the sliver among frame tables, by instructing operation of replacement of sliver whichever earlier time when amount of roving used after finishing replacement of sliver attains definite amount or time elapsed attains time for replacing the sliver. CONSTITUTION:A sliver-replacing frame 4 is carried to the position corresponding to frame table of a fine spinning frame 1 requiring sliver-replacing operation in state loaded on a carrier 2 and moved onto a guide rail Ia to carry out sliver-replacing operation. A full bobbin signal-transmitting device 6 and control device 8 including a timer 7 for measuring the time elapsed from completion of the sliver-replacing operation are provided on the frame table 1 and the used amount of roving is measured by a counter 9 of the control device 8 and transmitting device 6. A signal for requesting replacement of sliver is output from an output part 10 whichever earlier time when amount of roving used after finishing replacement of sliver attains definite amount or time elapsed attains time for replacing the sliver and a lamp 5 is turned on. |
