<p>The invention relates to a method for communication of radio alarms between an alarm transmitter and an alarm receiver preferably in a security system. The invention utilises an XCON radio alarm protocol for transmitting radio alarms between the alarm transmitter and the alarm receiver. This protocol ensures that said alarm is transmitted in the form of radio packets divided into information arrays comprising information on the alarm transmitter identity, alarm functions, alarm types and error correction parameters. The protocol ensures that the radio channel intended for security alarms is utilised in the best way possible. In addition, the protocol ensures that complete error correction of alarms received can be achieved.</p> |
