<p>PURPOSE:To detect a target even when a PRF is small by selecting a Doppler filter, which is optimum for the target detection, from the size of the PRF and bus device speed information and executing control. CONSTITUTION:A flight data device 11 presents the speed of an airplane and the information of the PRF to be used in a radar device to a target detecting area deciding device 12. From the information to be obtained from the flight data device 11, the target detecting area deciding device 12 judges which range Doppler filter is controlled and outputs instruction to a Doppler filter controller 13. On the other hand, a Doppler frequency corresponding to the maximum speed of the target detection is obtained from an equation (4). Then, the Doppler filter controller 13 sends only the filter output of a necessary band, out of the outputs of a Doppler filter 7, to a video integrator 8 according to the instruction from the target detecting area deciding device 12. Thus, even when the PRF is small, a clutter can be prevented from being mistaken for the target.</p> |
