The compression tank of an automatic pump comprises: a plastic upper body having a gas pouring hole formed on the upper portion thereof and a flange formed on the lower portion thereof; a plastic lower body having a nipple formed on the lower portion thereof and a flange formed on the upper portion thereof and contacted and exchangeably coupled with the flange of the upper body; and a protruded expanded diaphragm inserted between the flange of the upper body and the flange of the lower body for defining an air chamber of the upper body and a water chamber of the lower body.
