The impeller of a centrifugal pump provides a new shape of shroud and hub in order to increasing the current on a pressure side and decreasing the current on a negative pressure side in the flowing between blades, such that it can prevent separation and cavitation caused upon the flowing between the blades. The impeller is provided with the shroud and hub are shaped to have discharge side areas which are gradually decreased as their sectional areas between the blades approximate to the pressure side, while are gradually increased as they approximate to the negative pressure side.
