PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foamed ceramic molded plate, which is lightweight and strong, has micron order fine capillary air flow holes passing air, passes air but does not pass water, is extremely high in water absorption performance, excellent in heat insulating performance and extremely low in the temp. rising of the rear surface by flame. SOLUTION: Ceramic hollow fine particles, which are obtained by foaming under heating particles having a composition composed of 40-45% alumina, 50-60% silica and 1.5-2.5% others and are >=600kgf/cm<2> in compressive strength, 0.3-0.5g/cm<3> in bulk density and >=1500 deg.C in m.p., are filled into a prescribed molding flask, pressed and fused by heating at 1100-1400 deg.C. |
