PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print an image having sufficient gradation by using a dither method. SOLUTION: Input image data is converted to multiple gradation dithered image data by a dither controller 13. The ink dot diameter of each pixel is controlled by an ink dot diameter controller 15, output as output image data to a D-A converter 17, and then output as a head drive signal to a head driver 4. An image is printed by a printing head 7 by a head application signal based on the head drive signal output from the driver 4. |
