PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feed used for rearing livestock such as rabbit, pig or chicken or pet such as dog or cat, having good palatability and intestines- regulating action, etc., and improved in excrement odor of defection, by including shoot and root lees of pineapple having proteolytic bromelain activity and oligosaccharide. SOLUTION: This feed for animal contains preferably 5-50wt.% shoot and root lees of pineapple having proteolytic bromelain activity and preferably 0.1-5.0wt.% oligosaccharide such as slightly digestable oligosaccharide. Furthermore, a grain ingredient, an animal ingredient, etc., e.g. corn, bran, soybean oil lees, fish lees, oat or bone dust is used as a basic feed. |
