PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a change of the tissure of a living body itself after an implant material is implanted in the living body and to shorten the time necessary for cure by incorporating apatite and K nucleotide into the implant material. SOLUTION: An implant material contg. >=40wt.% apatite and 0.05-10wt.% nucleotide is implanted in the human body. The nucleotide is obtd. by bringing phosphoric acid into ester linkage to a nucleotide obtd. by bonding a base such as adenine or guanine to ribose. Collagen may be incorporated. Since >=40wt.% apatite is contained, shape retaining function can be enhanced. The affinity of an implant material made of only apatite or an apatite-collagen composite for a living body is improved by adding the nucleotide. |
