PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record at higher quality level by preventing the discharge failure of ink or the damage of a recording head in the case of recording by moving a recording medium by using the stationary type recording head. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave generator 14 is provided at the intermediate of an ink supply passage 12 for connecting an ink tank IT to a recording head IJH or suitably at the side near the head IJH to apply ultrasonic wave to the ink passing through the passage 12 to vibrate the ink, and bubble mixed with the ink is broken to be vanished by the vibration. A vibrationproofing material 16 for preventing the vibration propagation to the head IJH is provided at the connector of the head IJH to the passage. |
