FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: electrostimulator capsule comprises cylindrical electrodes having double bottom. Cavity formed by inner and outer bottom plates is filled with medicinal agent, outer bottom plate being formed perforated. Electrodes thus-filled are coated with neutral insulating material biodegradable in gastrointestinal tract fluids. Electrostimulator starts functioning only after dissolution of insulating coating on electrodes. Medicinal agents are released simultaneously with electrostimulation and are effectively assimilated by human organism owing to electrostimulation. Travelling along gastrointestinal tract, proposed electrostimulator is capable to supply any tract area with medicinal agents. As electrostimulator passes through oral cavity and oesophagus, there is no danger that it will be stuck in upper area of oesophagus, thereby causing sometimes acute asphyxia. EFFECT: basically novel form of administration of medicinal preparations suitable for treatment not only of gastrointestinal tract, but also of other organs. |
