<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of connection work by a method in which a pipe body part is divided longitudinally into two parts, the joining surfaces of each division are joined with a welding resin, and the labor for the connection work is unchanged irrespective of the number of branch parts. SOLUTION: This manifold of a synthetic resin is formed by a process in which a pipe body part 1a is divided longitudinally into two divisions 1, 1, and the joining surfaces 1c, 1c of the divisions 1, 1 are joined with a welding resin. The joining surfaces 1c, 1c are made outward directed flanges 2, 2 which are formed on the peripheries of the divisions 1, 1. In this way, the joining area and the joining strength are increased. Moreover, a recessed stripe 3 is formed longitudinally in the flange 2 of one division 1, and a projected stripe 4 which is loosely engaged the recessed stripe 3 is formed longitudinally in the flange 2 of the other division 1 so that the joining area and the joining strength are increased.</p> |
