PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cut-proof property by positioning a lug groove bottom opening within a specific range of a ratio of the height of a protector tread side flat surface to the distance between an opening end and a protector vertex and tying a center side groove bottom to the opening end with relatively large radius circular arc having its center on the upper outside of a tire. SOLUTION: When the height of a protector tread side flat surface is H and the distance between a groove bottom opening end 11 and a protector vertex 05 is 'h', the groove bottom opening 11 of the a lug groove 10 is positioned within the range of 0.45<=h/H<=1.0. The groove bottom opening 11 is smoothly tied from the center side groove bottom to the opening end by a a circular arc of relatively large radius R2 having its center on the upper part on the outside of the tire. Thus cuts are restrained from growing. |
