FIELD: computer engineering, specialized complexes of information processing for estimation of failure-free performance of reconditioned technical systems. SUBSTANCE: gear has control unit, storage, squarer, two multipliers, comparators which makes it possible to realize method of proximity estimation of reconditioned technical system by mean-time-to-repair information. Usage of proposed gear enables prediction of reliability of technical systems to be carried out in process of their development and tests.
