SOLUTION: In a method for producing a thermoplastic resin foam by sprinkling non-foamed thermoplastic resin pellets 4 containing a foaming agent to heat them and mutually fusing the pellets 4, the sprinkling amt. in at least one strip like region 5 is made larger than that in the remaining region or relatively low foamable thermoplastic resin pellets are sprinkled over at least one strip like region 5 and relatively high foamable thermoplastic resin pellets are sprinkled over the remaining region. |
