PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealability and to attain the promotion of high temperature in a critical temperature to a sliding noise by forming a lubricating layer, which is brought into close contact with an inner circumferential surface of another pipe end together with an exposed metallic fiber or whiskers, on a refractory material layer. SOLUTION: An upstream side exhaust pipe and a downstream side exhaust pipe both are fitted with each other via a seal ring 21 whose first layer is composed of a stainless steel wire mesh 22 and a heat resisting filler 23 as an inorganic binder being high in heat resistance. Phlogopite mica 24 being rich in heat resistance and flexibility is installed on an outer circumference of this first layer as refractory material layer. In addition, a metallic fiber on whiskers 25 is also installed as being exposed out of a surface of this phlogopite mica 24. In succession, a high temperature lubricant 26 is installed in this phlogopite mica 24 together with the metallic fiber or whiskers 25 as a lubricating layer. Thus, in this seal ring 21, its critical temperature to a sliding noise becomes heightened, while it turns to being excelled in sealability. |
