PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-sensitive recording material with excellent light resistance and especially, with both light resistance and fixing properties by incorporating a compd. of a specified formula in the heat-sensitive recording material in which a heat-sensitive recording layer and a protective layer are provided on a substrate. SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive recording material is obtd. by providing a heat-sensitive recording layer and a protective layer on a substrate. In addition, in this heat-sensitive recording material, a compd. of formula (wherein m is 1 or 2 and n is 0 or 1 and A is -SO2 R<10> , -COR<10> (R<10> is an alkyl group, etc.,) when m=1 and -SO2 R<17> SO2 - (R<17> is an alkylene group, etc.,), -COwhen m=2 and R<1> -R<9> are each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, etc.,) is incorporated. In this heat-sensitive recording material, by incorporating a compd. in which light transmittance in the wave length region for light fixing decreases after fixing, there exists no problem on fixing and good fixing properties and after fixing, light resistance of the heat-sensitive recording material is improved and especially, discoloration of the non-image area can be prevented from occurring. |
