PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for cleaning when color is changed and after printing operation ends and facilitate rapid color change, by fitting an ink tray onto a doctor blade at the rest position of the doctor blade and displacing the head of the elastic blade by a cross-direction regulator of the doctor blade. SOLUTION: When a portable ink supply unit is to be used, an ink fountain cradle 3 is sprung by turning, a doctor blade 2 is separated from an ink fountain roller 1 and is brought to the rest position with the surface kept level. Both side plates 11a, 11b of an ink tray containing ink is applied to the perimeter of an ink fountain roller 1 corresponding to the printing position, and placed on the top of the doctor blade 2 which keeps an ink tray fitting section 10 horizontal. When a changeover lever 17a of a magnet block of the fitting section 10b is set to 'contact,' the fitting section 10b is attracted and fixed to the top side of the doctor blade 2 by spring force. |
