PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely correct a folding part without cutting a sheet by interlocking a mechanism for holding a brush with a mechanism for raising it to the outside of a sheet to the end folding part in the continuously flowing sheet with the side end folded. SOLUTION: A piston rod 4 is stretched by the operation of an air cylinder 3 for raising a sheet, and a support 5 is slid along a linear slide bearing 6, and brushes 10, 10 which are fixed in the upper and lower parts of a fixed arm 7 at the end of the support 5 are moved to folding part positions at the end of the sheet. The brushes 10, 10 are made to approach each other from above and below the folding part to hold it by the operation of a sheet holding air cylinder 8. With the sheet held by the brushes 10, 10, the piston rod 4 of a sheet raising air cylinder 3 is contracted and brought back so that the folding part of the sheet is raised and corrected to be flat. Correction apparatuses 1 are arranged in two stages to be operated at appropriate timing, respectively. |
