PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for the treatment of mite allergy by using an active component consisting of a specific amidinophenol derivative having strong inhibitory action on house dust mite protease and exhibiting excellent absorbability. SOLUTION: This treating agent contains one or more compounds selected from p-(p-amidinophenoxycarbonyl)-α-methyl-cinnamic acid N-allyl-N- ethoxycarbonylmethylamide and p-(p-amidinoanilinocarbonyl)-α-methyl-cinnamic acid N-allyl-Nethoxycarbonylmethylamide, their nontoxic salts and their acid addition salts as an active component. Among the above compounds, p-(p- amidinophenoxycarbonyl)-α-methyl-cinnamic acid N-allyl-N- ethoxycarbonylmethylamide, etc., are new compounds. The compound of formula II is produced by hydrolyzing the t-Bu of a compound of formula I (R is 4- piperidyl, oxolan-2-ylmethyl, etc.; t-Bu is tert-butyl).
