<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost and improve position precision and to provide excellent durability and recycling ability by a method wherein a contact member to correct the position in the direction of width of a recording paper by bringing the side in a direction of width of a recording paper into contact with the contact member is molded integrally with the end part on the paper feed side of the side fence of a paper feed cassette to regulate the position of the side in the direction of width of a recording paper. SOLUTION: A contact member 51 to correct the position in the direction of width of a recording paper 7 through contact with the side part 57 in the direction of width of the recording paper 7 is molded integrally with the end part on the paper feed side of the side fence 50 of a paper feed cassette. When a bottom plate is raised, the recording papers 7 are brought into contact, in order, from a topmost recording paper 7 with the contact member 51. In this case, interpaper adhesion F=u×M, whereinμis an interpaper friction factor, between the topmost recording paper 7 and a second recording paper 7 next to the topmost recording paper is reduced to a very low value since the own weight M of the recording paper 7 is a weight equivalent to that of one recording paper. Thus, the topmost recording paper 7 is pressed against the contact member 51 during the rise of a bottom plate without any problem and moved to an ideal position to correct a position.</p> |
