<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of damage due to skew of a paper sheet, lowering of image quality, and the occurrence of a jam of paper sheets and to improve reliability by a method, when a paper feed cassette device is demounted from the front side of a device body, though size is reduced and a cost is decreased, the paper sheet is separated from a pickup roller. SOLUTION: A lever 34 is provided to have a first roller 37 to press down a paper sheet P by a pickup roller 13, and a support lever mounted on a rock lever 41 by means of a bearing through a link. In the lock of a lock lever 41, a second roller at the tip of a lever 34 is supported above by a support lever 46 and the first roller 37 is separated away from the paper sheet P. Meanwhile, during unlock of the lock lever 41, the second roller is released from the support lever 46, and the paper sheet P is pressed down by the first roller 37. This constitution separates the paper sheet P from the pickup roller 13 during mounting and demounting operation of a paper feed cassette device 10 and prevents the occurrence of skew of the paper sheet P.</p> |
