<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string excellent in surface wear resistance, and improve the durability of the string by covering the surface of a core string formed of a synthetic polymer material with a film formed of a polymer material. SOLUTION: This string is formed by covering the surface of a core string 2 formed of a synthetic polymer material with a film 1 formed of a polymer material. For example, the film 1 slitted into a prescribed width is spirally wound, or the film 1 may be wound so as to be joined, in parallel to the axial direction of the core spring 2. At this time, the film 1 may be overlapped so that the edge of the film 1 is partially superposed, or wound so that the edges are not mutually superposed. Particularly, since the superposed part 3 of the edges in winding works to prevent the slippage of warp and weft caused after the string is stretched on a racket, this winding form is preferable.</p> |
