PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus for loosening raw seaweed, capable of safely and easily loosening raw seaweeds to produce completely loosened raw seaweeds without causing the winding of the seaweeds on a diffusion blade and enabling remarkable improvement in the loosening work efficiency. SOLUTION: A hopper 13 having a cylindrical raw seaweed feeding pipe 14 is placed above a base frame 1, a rotary drum 15 driven by a motor 24 is placed outside the raw seaweed feeding pipe 14, a diffusion blade 28 is protruded from the lower face of the rotary drum 15, a scatter-restriction cover 31 having an elliptic cylindrical form encircling the outside of the diffusion blade 28 is attached to the lower face of the right and left frame members 5, 6 of the base frame 1, a raw seaweed receiving pan 34 is placed on a pair of V belts 42 circulating in a state sliding with the upper face of a supporting plate 11 placed under the base frame 1 at both sides and the raw seaweed fed from the hopper 13 is loosened by the rotating diffusion blade 28 and held in the raw seaweed receiving pan 34. |
