<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monoclonal antibody specific for a D-dimer in a rat thrombolytic product and provide an enzyme immunoassay utilizing the antibody. SOLUTION: This monoclonal antibody is capable of more strongly recognizing a rat D-dimer and has 74 kDa molecular weight. The monoclonal antibody is obtained from a fused cell of a cell of a mammal immunized with aγ-γchain separated from a rat D-dimer as an antigen to a cell of a myeloma than a rat fibrinogen. Since the monoclonal antibody is capable of more strongly recognizing the rat D-dimer than the rat fibrinogen, the D-dimer in rat blood can be measured according to an enzyme immunoassay using the monoclonal antibody. The antibody is extremely useful for development and research of a thrombolytic agent using a rat as an experimental animal and the monoclonal antibody can be mass-produced by culturing the fused cell.</p> |
