PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fix a cable using a small number of component parts by furnishing a window hole in the barrel of a round connector concerned, engaging a spring with this window hole, and holding the cable with a clamp part. SOLUTION: When a cable 9 is to be fixed to the barrel 2 of a round connector concerned, first a cable 9 in which electric wires 90 are connected with pin contacts 5 implanted in an insulator 4 is fixed by caulking the clamp part 32 of a cable clamp 3. Then the fit part 30 of the clamp 3 is inserted into the barrel 2 together with the insulator 4, and a spring 33 provided on the clamp 3 is engaged with a window hole 22 provided in the barrel 2. The window hole 22 constitutes the first engaging part while the spring 33 constitutes the second engaging part. It is preferred that the barrel-clamp coupling part and the end of the cable 9a are covered with bushing 8. |
