PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically insert an additional sound in a gap of melody. SOLUTION: In the melody shown in (a), a key depressing interval over two or more beats in an indicated sub-melody inserting section is detected. After the third beat of the first measure, a sub-melody pattern corresponding to C-major begun from the third beat of two beats is generated and inserted. Similarly, a sub-melody pattern correspoinding to F-major begun from the third beat of two beats is generated and inserted after the third beat of the second measure. In this case, the case selecting the sub-melody 1 is shown in (b), the case selecting the sub-melody 2 is shown in (b), and the case selecting the sub- melody 3 is shown in (c). |
