PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a musical sound control device which can specify whether a touch response is given to every key area in which a key area is divided. SOLUTION: When a predetermined key is pressed by operating a split point setting switch 2b under a split mode SP, a key area is divided at the boundary of a key and further, either one of a touch response or a fixed touch is arbitrarily given to every key area in response to the operation of a key velocity setting switch 2d. Therefore, for instance, when a melody performance is made on an upper key area UK side while making a chord performance on a lower key area LK side, a desired fixed touch is set in the lower key area LK, and on the other hand, a touch response can be given on the upper key area UK side, so that a musical performance effect intended by a player may be realized. |
