PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the adjustment of the quantity of laser light for the optical pickup even at the actual operation. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a semiconductor laser as a laser light generating means provided on the optical pickup, an automatic output control circuit for automatically controlling the quantity of laser light of this semiconductor laser and a semifixed variable resistor for correcting a variation of an output characteristic of the semiconductor laser. This semifixed variable resistor is fitted to a flexible printed wiring member 4 disposed on an outer circumferential side surface of the optical pickup 1, and an adjusting knob 5 of the semifixed variable resistor(VR) is exposed to the outer side surface. |
