PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain font information such as font, a font file and management information. SOLUTION: The operator decides a content of font information stored in a font file and it is represented by a character string, a font information storage character code area 8 is decided from a code area 7 for character code not in use as a storage destination of font information, and each character of the character string representing the font information is allocated to a character code in the area. Succeedingly a character string representing the font information is inputted by an input section 1. A main control section 3 transfers them to a font information control section 4. The font information control section 4 stores each character of the character string representing font information to a font information storage character code area 8 in the character code area 7 not in use in a font file 6 stored in a storage section 5. Font information is obtained by displaying them onto a display device or printing out them. |
