PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate distortion changing without interruption with a simple configuration by giving a weight to received multi-symbol signals, combining them, processing them and generating sequentially a weight coefficient with respect to a symbol according to a conjugate gradient algorithm. SOLUTION: A modulator 40a of a transmitter 32 modulates a multi-symbol digital signal St and a pulse shaping filter 42a provides an output of a signal subject to root raised cosine pulse shaping. A base band(PB)/RF converter 44a converts the signal into an RF wave and it is sent via a direct propagation path 38a and lots of different reflection wave propagation lines 38b. An RF/BB converter 44b of a mobile receiver 36 converts an RF signal received by an antenna 46 into a BB signal, and a matching filter 42b generates a signal Xt while matching the operation of a filter 42a. The signal Xt is processed by a demodulator 40a, which provides an output of a digital signal Ut. Thus, the system is adapted at a high speed with a simple configuration and distortion of a reception signal changing without interruption is compensated. |
