PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect whether the in-plane position, focal distance, and diffraction efficiency, etc., of each converging element hologram constituting a hologram color filter is manufactured with a precision as designed or not. SOLUTION: In the inspecting device for a hologram color filter 5 composed of an array having converging element holograms periodically arranged thereon in which each element hologram wavelength-disperses and spectrally divides a white light incident with an angle to the normal of a recording surface in the direction laid along the recording surface, this device has a laser 12 for emitting a lighting light having a prescribed wavelength to the hologram color filter 5 at a prescribed incident angle, a CCD line sensor 17 for taking the luminance distribution image on an imaging surface parallel to the hologram recording surface corresponding to the imaging point of each element hologram, and a computer 24 for calculating any one value of position, diameter, and luminance of each converged spot image of the resulting luminance distribution image. |
