The upper front leading edge of a vehicle bodywork is constituted by a cover moulded from synthetic resin with a length corresponding to the width of the bodywork for which it is intended. It has a curved longitudinal front edge and a longitudinal rear part (A) capable of covering the front end of the roof (P), the front end of the upper edge of the bodywork side panels (Z), the upper end of the bodywork front corner uprights (M) and the bodywork front panel (F). A longitudinal front part (B) forms a nose cone (N) and a vertical wall (V) located under and behind the nose in front of the bodywork front panel. The cover has air inlets in the under face of the nose on top of the vertical wall. The vertical wall carries the bodywork upper front lights.
