PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the degradation in an adhesion property to a paper fixing device and to improve fixing efficiency by forming a specific fluorine- contained silicone oil coating film on the surface of a fixing member on the side in contact with a recording material. SOLUTION: The recording material 6 carrying a toner image 7 is passed between an upper roller 1 and a lower roller 5, by which the toner image 7 is thermally melted and fixed onto the recording material. The fluorine-contained silicone oil coating film having the constitutional unit expressed by formula is formed on the surface 2 of the upper roller 1. The recording material 6 contains calcium carbonate having a number average primary particle size 0.1 to 3.0μm. In the formula, X denotes 1 to 4C satd. hydrocarbon group or aryl group. Rf denotes 2 to 10C fluoroalkyl group; (n) denotes an integer from 1 to 4. The silicone oil may have a copolymer structure with dimethyl silicon, phenyl methyl silicon, etc.
