PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient measuring method for optical characteristic of a light switch and a measuring device therefor. SOLUTION: In the measurement of optical characteristic of a light switch 1 for selecting a fixed side connector 125 to be connected to a moving side connector 127 to switch an optical path, the emitted light from the other terminal of an optical fiber connected to the moving side connector 226 of the other switch 2 which is the same as or different from the light switch 1 is read in the state where each fixed side connector of the light switch 1 is connected to each corresponding fixed side connector 225 of the other light switch 2, whereby the optical characteristic of the light switch is measured.
